Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Clinic Float - PRN

Saline Memorial Clinics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work as a clinic float on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in a collaborative clinic environment alongside Registered Nurses and Physicians. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety while working under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse.

Clinical Setting

This position is based at Saline Memorial Clinics, part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. Saline Memorial Hospital is a 177-bed acute care facility serving the Benton, Arkansas community and operates seven clinics.

Schedule

• Employment Type: PRN (as needed)
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexible shifts and units as needed

Responsibilities

• Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by an RN
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication
• Document patient care provided
• Assist RN with development of plan of care
• Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program
• Current LPN license to practice in the state
• BLS certification
• Previous clinic experience required
