Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Cardiovascular Clinic

Join UP Health System - Marquette's Cardiovascular Clinic as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a full-time outpatient role. You will work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff in a close-knit, collaborative team dedicated to improving patients' heart health. This position offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and teammates while providing direct patient care and education in a supportive clinic environment.

Clinical Setting

The Cardiovascular Clinic is part of UP Health System - Marquette, a 222-bed hospital located in Marquette, Michigan, and part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities across the country.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document patient intake data and maintain accurate, complete patient records
• Provide patient support that reflects consideration for emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious, and economic influences
• Assist with routine clinic support activities
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
• Maintain an appropriate, safe, and therapeutic environment per clinic policy
• Assist with performing patient assessments and treatments under physician supervision

Schedule

• Full-time position: 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period
• 5 x 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Required Qualifications

• Active state of Michigan LPN license
• Graduation from an LPN or LVN program
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification

Compensation and Bonuses
