Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Calhoun is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. Working in harmony with the entire nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care, collect patient data, make observations, and report pertinent information to support patient care. You may also direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care under direct supervision
• Collect patient data and make clinical observations
• Report pertinent patient information to the care team
• Direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed
• Work according to state-specific Nurse Practice Act and Practice Guidelines

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts available
• Weekday shifts: 7am-7pm (part-time) or 7pm-7am (full-time)
• Weekend-only shifts available
• Full-time weekend positions available through the Weekend Warrior Program, which offers 12-hour shifts (days or nights) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with shift differential pay

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing with the state
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of nursing experience in a long-term care facility

Compensation

• USD $30.00 - USD $34.00 per hour
• Shift differential available for Weekend Warrior Program positions
