Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Butterfly Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. This is a full-time or part-time position based in Fairfax Station, Virginia, offering the opportunity to deliver individualized, compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs in a home care setting.

Clinical Setting

You will work in clients' homes, providing in-home nursing care as part of a supportive and collaborative home care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients in their homes
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
• Communicate regularly with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals
• Write comprehensive daily reports

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health, clinic, facility, hospice, or related setting
• Experience working with patients with complex medical needs
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to create reports
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional work ethic

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time positions available
• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Compensation

• Competitive pay rates for Licensed Practical Nurses in Virginia, ranging from $30 to $35 per hour
