Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in our skilled nursing facility in Syracuse, NY. This role involves admission assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and supervision of nursing assistants in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect required information from new residents during admission
• Record and monitor residents' health details, including vital signs and temperature
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Treat and dress wounds and bedsores
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed
• Assist residents with dressing and personal hygiene
• Monitor residents' food and liquid intake and output

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State LPN license
• Current good standing with New York State Registry
• Ability to work effectively as a team member

Compensation and Benefits

• Base rate: $34 to $36 per hour
• Shift differential: $1.25 per hour for evening shifts
• Weekend differential: $0.40 per hour for any shift worked on weekends
• Sign-on bonus: $3,000
• Daily Pay option available through a third-party provider for faster access to earnings
