Triangle Springs is a 77-bed behavioral health hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a structured, team-oriented environment. You will work with patients experiencing mental health and substance use disorders, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Assist with patient assessments and contribute to individualized care planning
  • Administer medications and treatments within the scope of LPN practice
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate clinical team
  • Support interventions focused on patient safety, stabilization, and recovery
  • Provide care appropriate to the age, condition, and behavioral health needs of each patient
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient advocacy
  • Help maintain a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program
  • Current, valid LPN/LVN license in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous nursing experience
  • Behavioral health or psychiatric experience

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Rotating weekends
