Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Assisted Living - Part Time - NIGHT

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time night shift work in an assisted living community. This position provides licensed nursing services to residents, including medication administration, resident assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to monitor resident health, respond to emergencies, communicate with physicians and families regarding changes in resident condition, and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Clinical Setting

• Part-time, night shift position

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines
• Conduct admission assessments and complete admission documentation for new residents
• Develop and maintain acute and long-term care plans or service plans
• Track clinical systems such as wounds or infection control under director supervision
• Provide consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community
• Notify physicians and family members of any changes in resident health and document appropriately
• Respond quickly to all emergencies
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff members
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and prospective resident information
• Complete discharge assessments and clinical documentation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• CPR certification
• Minimum one year of experience in senior care or related field
• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
• Basic computer skills
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and employees, and respond to emergency situations
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations in a calm and professional manner

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay rate: $36.00 per hour plus $2.00 night shift differential
• Part-time, night shift
