Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (Assisted Living)

Mountain Glen, part of Cascade Living, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures for residents in assisted living settings across the region, including Bellingham, Oak Harbor, Arlington, Stanwood, and La Conner.

Clinical Setting

You will work in assisted living communities serving residents who require skilled nursing care and medication management. The role focuses on maintaining quality of life while implementing individualized care plans that respect residents' strengths, preferences, and routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and skilled nursing procedures in compliance with state regulations
• Implement residents' personal care plans with focus on individual strengths, preferences, and preferred routines
• Assist in training and monitoring of medication care administration
• Monitor the performance of caregivers to ensure quality care
• Educate residents and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
• Maintain the highest possible quality and consistency in resident care

Required Qualifications

• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication skills with staff, residents, and families
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ownership attitude with ability to stay focused despite interruptions

Schedule

• Part-time position
• Night shift (overnight) available
• Weekend availability required
