Danville Regional Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff while utilizing your nursing skills to promote physical and psychosocial well-being. You will work collaboratively with the nursing and facility teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care that exceeds resident needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care utilizing nursing skills to promote physical and psychosocial well-being
- Manage medications with proficiency and accuracy
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated care
- Promote teamwork within the care team
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
- Support a respectful and positive work environment through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) with residents, family members, customers, and staff
Clinical Setting
This position is based at a rehabilitation facility serving seniors. The role focuses on geriatric nursing and senior care.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana
- Proficient medication management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
