Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Danville Regional Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff while utilizing your nursing skills to promote physical and psychosocial well-being. You will work collaboratively with the nursing and facility teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care that exceeds resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care utilizing nursing skills to promote physical and psychosocial well-being
• Manage medications with proficiency and accuracy
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated care
• Promote teamwork within the care team
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) with residents, family members, customers, and staff

Clinical Setting

This position is based at a rehabilitation facility serving seniors. The role focuses on geriatric nursing and senior care.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana
• Proficient medication management skills
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
