Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ambulatory Cardiology Practice

Join Baystate Health's ambulatory cardiology practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a collaborative outpatient setting. You will provide direct patient care alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff, working in a patient-centered environment where your clinical skills are valued.

Clinical Setting

This is a full-time outpatient position within an ambulatory cardiology practice. You will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week in a physician practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and complete clinical intake, including vital signs and health history
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• Administer medications and immunizations within LPN scope of practice
• Educate patients and coordinate follow-up care
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current Massachusetts LPN license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous healthcare experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient or physician practice experience

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is based on experience within the range of $27.13 to $36.88 per hour, with a midpoint of $31.19. New hires typically start in the lower part of the range.
