Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) All Shifts

The Blake at Charlottesville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical treatment and skilled nursing care for residents in our senior living community. This is a full-time or part-time position available on all shifts.

Clinical Setting

The Blake at Charlottesville is a resort-style senior living community focused on providing luxurious and comfortable homes for older adults while promoting wellness, security, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of practice for assisted living as defined by state board and regulations
• Provide high-quality care and service for residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with the team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments
• Serve as charge nurse on shift, supervising personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Required Qualifications

• Current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Caring heart and willingness to serve others
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Assisted living or long-term care experience
• Current First Aid certification

Compensation

• $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
