The opportunity

Job Description

Wellstar is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Acworth Family Medicine practice. In this role, you will work under the direction of the physician, nurse supervisor, and practice manager to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Recognize patient needs and symptoms in advance
Prepare patients for examinations
Assist physicians during treatments and procedures
Coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up care
Record treatment information in medical records
Assist with patient and family education
Demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages

Required Qualifications

Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program
