Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acworth Family Medicine

Wellstar is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Acworth Family Medicine practice. In this role, you will work under the direction of the physician, nurse supervisor, and practice manager to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize patient needs and symptoms in advance
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Assist physicians during treatments and procedures
• Coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up care
• Record treatment information in medical records
• Assist with patient and family education
• Demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages

• Day shift

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program
• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date
