Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (82329)

Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients at Homestead Correctional Institution in Florida City, Florida. You will work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs within the appropriate scope of practice for an LPN.

Homestead Correctional Institution, a correctional healthcare facility operated by Centurion Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of LPN practice
• Respond to physical and mental health needs of patients
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, medical staff, and psychiatric staff

Schedule

Full-time positions available with the following shift options:

• 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (12-hour shift)
• 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (8-hour shift)

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
• Current and active Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $28.00 to $31.50 per hour
