Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 7p - 7a

Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Ocala is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift (7p - 7a). You will deliver nursing care to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care in a supportive team environment.

Clinical Setting

Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Ocala is located at 4100 SW 33rd Ave, Ocala, FL 34474. The facility provides long-term and rehabilitative care services.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents
• Coordinate medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Administer medications according to facility protocols
• Follow infection control, emergency, and center policies
• Collaborate with the resident's interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
• Identify and report abnormal changes in residents' condition to appropriate personnel per center policy
• Work under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment
• Collect patient and resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to care
• Implement the patient and resident plan of care and evaluate patient and resident response according to state-specific regulations
• Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations, in accordance with state-specific regulations
• Maintain knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use, including monitors, infusion devices, and drain devices
• Maintain confidentiality and patient and resident rights regarding all patient, resident, and personnel information

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license issued by the State of Florida
• CPR Certification
• Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of prior nursing experience

• Night shift: 7p - 7a
