Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 7am to 3pm

Empire Care Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a part-time position working 7am to 3pm. In this role, you will deliver high-quality medical care and support to our residents, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants to provide compassionate, individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' conditions and assess their needs to provide appropriate care and advice
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans
• Perform routine clinical procedures including blood pressure measurements and administering injections
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
• Adjust and administer medications and provide treatments according to physician orders
• Inspect facilities and maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards, including decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and preparing beds
• Provide immediate medical care during emergencies
• Supervise and train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their families

Required Qualifications

• Active Nursing License valid in Georgia
