Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team across our 150+ locations in New York, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide direct patient support in a fast-paced urgent care environment, assisting practitioners with examinations and procedures while managing patient flow efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and assigned duties
• Administer medications and injections
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing and assist in management of results
• Efficiently manage patient flow through the office
• Prepare exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization of equipment, and stocking of supplies
• Perform patient call back duties
• Attend facility required staff training and meetings
• Assist with other assigned duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN License
• Degree from accredited School of Practical Nursing
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bending and twisting, and standing for 10-12 hours per day

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a busy medical office

Travel Requirements

• 0-25% travel required
