Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 6P-6A Full time

ClearSky Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift position (6p-6a) at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital in Lecanto, FL. In this role, you will provide general nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician orders and established standards and protocols.

Clinical Setting

This is a full-time position in a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. You will work night shifts from 6p to 6a.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders for medications and treatments in accordance with the nursing care plan written by the Registered Nurse
• Participate in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seek guidance in redirection when necessary
• Assist in identifying patient learning needs and reinforce self-care and other techniques
• Report to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patient needs, and resolution to those needs
• Appropriately designate applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital's established system
• Help identify patient problems and potential risks and contribute to the development of interventions
• Provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff
• Assess risks for safety and implement appropriate precautions
• Comply with appropriate and approved safety and infection prevention standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting
• Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
• Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
