Landmark Medical Center, a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, RI, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care services in the emergency department. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice
  • Meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care
  • Address the communication needs of patients and families
  • Perform duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrate knowledge of EMTALA regulations and triage processes in the ER setting

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current certification throughout employment

Schedule

  • Part-time position: 24 hours per week
  • Days shift: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
