Licensed Practical Nurse, Internal Medicine Group, Baptist Baymeadows

Baptist Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Internal Medicine Group at Baptist Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position supports the clinical and call center operations of a high-volume family medicine and pediatric primary care practice. You will provide nursing assistance to physicians, maintain medical documentation, and ensure exceptional care for patients of all ages.

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Administer pediatric vaccines with strict adherence to CDC/ACIP immunization schedules
• Provide high-quality in-office clinical support, including age-appropriate patient assessments
• Utilize approved pediatric telephone triage protocols for call center support
• Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate levels of care
• Schedule care and treatment
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Process prescriptions and referrals
• Begin IV therapy and administer medications
• Provide patient education and coordinate care
• Document clinical encounters and maintain medical records

Required Qualifications

• Vocational degree
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Compensation

• Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus available
