Licensed Practical Nurse

Homestead of El Dorado is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in our community setting. You will work under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing, delivering care according to established care plans and collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Communicate with patients and families regarding patient education and progress
• Participate in conferences with physicians, patients, family members, and other staff involved in patient care
• Review and maintain all clinical records required for patient care and progress documentation
• Review weekly reports to monitor personal and staff compliance with State and Federal requirements, including blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety
