Licensed Practical Nurse, HICU

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our HICU Health Services team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. In this role, you will deliver skilled nursing care to infants and young children transitioning from the hospital to home. As a Hospital at Home Nurse, you will work in a team-based environment as an extension of the hospital care team, providing one-on-one patient care during the initial weeks of home care while training families and ongoing care teams.

Clinical Setting

You will work in patients' homes, delivering high-tech pediatric nursing care to children with complex medical needs, including those requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in their home environment
• Provide extensive training to families and care team members
• Work as part of a hospital care team extension
• Manage infusion therapy and tracheostomy/ventilator care
• Support children's transition from hospital to home settings

Required Qualifications

• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• At least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN
• Experience in NICU, PICU, ICU, or home care trach/vent settings
• Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care (demonstrated in home or lab setting)

Schedule and Employment

• Full-time and part-time scheduling available
• Weekly pay

Compensation

• Salary range: $40-$45 per hour
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
• $2,400 nurse referral bonus
