Licensed Practical Nurse

Grand River Healthcare in Chillicothe, Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift position. This role involves providing direct nursing care to patients, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.

Schedule

• Full-time, night shift
• 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned
• Reinforce support and provide health care instructions to patients and their families
• Participate with team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and patient activities
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to appropriate personnel
• Record patient responses to nursing care on patient charts
• Maintain environmental conditions that support patient comfort and safety
• Assist with unit management and assume charge of unit as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of LPN experience
