Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Saratoga Springs office. In this role, you will support physicians in delivering medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services to patients. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with procedures, manage supplies and inventory, and ensure a professional and welcoming patient experience.
Clinical Setting
Schweiger Dermatology Group operates over 170 offices across nine states, providing medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and allergy services to approximately 2.5 million patients annually. This position is based at our Saratoga Springs office.
Responsibilities
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care for patients and providers
- Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures
- Assist providers in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations, and procedures within established guidelines
- Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate the provider's next steps
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after patient visits
- Check all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure proper working order
- Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions to patients as needed
- Scan retail, cosmetic, and medical supplies daily and alert management of low inventory levels
- Perform inventory responsibilities and stock supplies and equipment as requested
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities
Schedule
Full-time position, 30+ hours per week. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with rotating Saturday availability within operating hours. Open flexibility to help cover shifts in a team environment is required.
Required Qualifications
- Practical Nursing Certificate
- Healthcare experience required
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent patient relations and customer service skills
- Open availability to work weekdays and weekends
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance

Compensation
Hourly pay range: $25.00 to $31.50
