Licensed Practical Nurse - FT

CoreCivic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time position providing healthcare in an institutional setting. You will deliver nursing care to inmates and residents, working alongside physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality medical treatment and support.

Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates and residents
• Attend sick call with the physician to evaluate inmates and residents; prepare examination lists, examining rooms, and equipment
• Operate pill call, dispense medications, and document all activities according to established policies and procedures
• Control, inventory, and maintain medication, syringes, and other medical supplies and equipment
• Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum age of 21 years

Compensation

• $31.84 - $39.13 per hour
