Licensed Practical Nurse

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, a community hospital serving Macon, Jackson, and surrounding counties, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time night shifts. This position is based at Eckerd Living Center, which operates 80+ beds in long-term care alongside the hospital's 24+ acute care beds. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the RN and interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN
• Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed
• Perform lab and procedural tests within the LPN/LVN scope of practice after demonstrating competency
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
• Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
