Licensed Practical Nurse

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, a critical access hospital in Sullivan, Missouri, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care on the day shift. This position offers the opportunity to work with a well-established medical group in a modern facility that includes a state-of-the-art emergency department, childbirth center, critical care unit, surgical suite, cardiac rehabilitation services, and cancer center.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care activities including IV management under the supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Implement treatments and procedures within the scope of practice for the Licensed Practical Nurse
• Perform patient assessment and evaluation with regard to the patient's age and developmental needs
• Assist in developing and updating the plan of care with regard to the patient's age and developmental needs
• Implement the plan of care with regard to the patient's age and developmental needs
• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provide patient teaching and discharge planning
• Participate in professional development and lifelong learning

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Day shift
• Full-time, benefit-eligible position

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Missouri LPN license with IV certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric experience
• Less than 2 years of nursing experience

Compensation

• $24.33 – $34.48 per hour based on qualifications and relevant work experience
