Licensed Practical Nurse Behavioral Health

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting. In this role, you will work with patients struggling with mental health and addiction issues, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing other clinical tasks as needed
• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining up-to-date patient records including medication administration and treatment plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN certification in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in a behavioral health setting

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate of $32 to $35
