Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory, SRT, System Staffing Office

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Staffing Resource Team (SRT) in the ambulatory departments at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on day shifts with 8-hour shifts. The SRT is a float pool that provides critical staffing support across ambulatory departments based on current needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to facilitate continuing health care to individuals, families, and community
• Identify common and recurring nursing needs of patients
• Recognize the need for and perform routine office procedures and testing
• Assist patients in achieving basic health care goals
• Identify patient education needs, providing instruction or referring appropriately
• Assist staff in institutional quality improvement measures and office standards of practice
• Provide telephone advice to patients per physician-specific protocols and refer patients appropriately
• Participate in staff meetings
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire LPN license
• BLS certification

Schedule

• Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Day shifts, 8-hour shifts
• 0.90 FTE

Compensation

• $5.00 shift differential for SRT positions
