Licensed Practical Nurse - Allergy

Straub Benioff Medical Center's Allergy/Immunology department is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. The department specializes in the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic allergic conditions including asthma, allergic rhinitis, ocular and nasal allergies, hives, eczema, food and drug allergies, insect sting reactions, and work-related allergies such as latex. You will work in a friendly atmosphere using modern testing methods, patient education, and evidence-based care.

Clinical Setting

Straub Benioff Medical Center is a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu with a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program serving throughout Hawaii. The Allergy/Immunology department is part of a comprehensive medical center offering over 32 medical specialties.

Schedule

• Full-time regular position
• Day shift, 8 hours
• 1.0 FTE

Required Qualifications

• Current Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
• One year of recent Licensed Practical Nurse experience

Compensation

• Pay range: $32.82 - $34.55 USD per hour
• Rate of pay determined by knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, training, and internal peer equity
