Licensed Practical Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Stroke Unit

Join our Advanced Acute Care Stroke Unit as a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing direct patient care in an inpatient setting. You will contribute to patient assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout their hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessments and care planning based on patient needs
• Provide treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures safely and effectively
• Address comprehensive patient needs and reinforce patient and family education
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in discharge planning and promote patient safety and satisfaction
• Participate in unit-based decision-making and performance evaluations
• Act as a mentor and preceptor for new staff and students
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and maintain evidence-based care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized nursing training program
