Licensed Practical Nurse 7pm to 7am

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team providing quality care to geriatric patients on the night shift. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment while supporting elderly residents and their families.

Schedule

• 7pm to 7am

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Educate patients and families about health care maintenance
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
• Assist with geriatric care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• No findings in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make quick decisions
• Ability to foster good resident and family relationships
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility
