Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (Senior Patient) - Duluth, 30096 ($15/hr - Weekly Pay)

Gail's Homecare is seeking a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate in-home personal care to senior patients in the Duluth area and surrounding counties in Georgia. In this role, you will work in clients' homes, assisting with basic personal hygiene, mobility support, and domestic tasks according to their individual needs and limitations. You will document clients' progress and help ensure their overall wellbeing while working as part of a growing home health care team.

Clinical Setting

This is a non-medical, in-home care position serving clients throughout Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jackson, and Rockdale counties in Georgia. Services are based in Lithonia, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance with basic hygiene and grooming
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and physical tasks as needed
• Perform household and domestic tasks as requested by clients
• Document client progress and care provided
• Work under supervision and demonstrate competency in providing quality client care
• Participate in professional meetings and training sessions as directed
• Comply with all agency policies, legal requirements, and healthcare regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA License
• Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting
• Valid Driver's License or State-Issued ID
• Current TB Test Results
• Social Security Card
• Vaccination Record/Card
• Existing Fingerprint-Based Background Check
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility and other physical tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Commitment to treating clients with dignity, respect, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to five years of professional healthcare experience
• Significant experience in a home health care setting
• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work

Additional Requirements

• Completion of at least eight hours of personal care-related training annually

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 7 PM
• Saturday to Sunday, 9 AM to 7 PM
• PRN shifts available, 9 AM to 7 PM

Compensation

• $15 per hour
• Weekly pay
