Lead Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Always Best Care of Wallingford is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team providing non-medical in-home care and support to clients in Wallingford, Connecticut. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities and provide companionship in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions to caregivers
• Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
• Collaborate with the team of caregivers to ensure seamless client care
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Compassionate and caring attitude with a strong focus on client satisfaction
