Rejuv Medical is seeking a full-time IV Infusion RN for our Waite Park clinic. This position provides safe, effective, and patient-centered infusion therapy services while maintaining current IV protocols and departmental documentation. You will initiate and maintain intravenous lines, administer prescribed medications and fluid therapies, monitor patients throughout their treatments, and provide education regarding treatment plans. This role also oversees the scheduling and delivery of body contouring and wellness services, including EXOMIND, EMSELLA, and EMSCULPT treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform peripheral IV insertion and maintain IV access throughout treatment
  • Prepare and administer prescribed medications, fluids, and infusion therapies according to established protocols and physician orders
  • Assess patients before, during, and after treatments; monitor for adverse reactions, complications, or changes in condition; and respond appropriately according to established emergency protocols
  • Develop and implement appropriate plans of care based on patient assessment and treatment orders
  • Provide compassionate patient care and education regarding IV therapies, orthopedics, functional medicine, hormone therapies, pain-related treatments, and other services within the nurse's scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic medical record documentation and treatment records
  • Maintain, review, and ensure IV protocols, policies, and procedures remain current and consistent with applicable clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and clinic policies
  • Maintain departmental compliance and inspection readiness by ensuring required logs, records, and documentation are accurate and current, including medication refrigerator/freezer temperature logs, expired medication logs, cleaning and sanitation logs, and equipment service and maintenance records
  • Ensure medications, supplies, equipment, and treatment areas are maintained in accordance with applicable safety, storage, expiration, cleaning, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
  • Administer and oversee BTL services, including EXOMIND, EMSELLA, and EMSCULPT, according to established protocols, manufacturer guidelines, physician orders, and applicable standards of practice
  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of BTL services to support appropriate patient flow, treatment availability, equipment utilization, and efficient department operations
  • Assess patients for BTL services, provide appropriate education regarding treatment expectations, preparation, potential risks, aftercare, and follow-up, and ensure services are provided safely

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous hands-on IV insertion experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with patients and all levels of clinic staff
  • Exceptional patient care, assessment, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately document patient care and treatment in an electronic medical record
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, clinical protocols, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in patient care, documentation, and administrative responsibilities
  • Ability to adapt effectively to changing conditions, priorities, and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and provide safe, effective patient care in high-stress or time-sensitive situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • One or more years of infusion therapy experience
  • EMR experience; Mindbody and Athena experience is a plus
  • Experience with or ability to learn applicable clinical equipment, including ultrasound, BTL (EMSELLA, EMSCULPT, EXOMIND), EKG, Shockwave, and other equipment used within the clinic
  • Takes initiative and continuously evaluates workflows to improve efficiency
