IV Infusion Registered Nurse (PRN) - Morton, IL

Vitaline is hiring a PRN IV Infusion Registered Nurse to serve patients throughout the Central Illinois area. In this mobile infusion role, you will travel to skilled nursing facilities and long-term care centers to administer IV hydration and medication therapy to geriatric patients. You must reside within a 30-minute commute of our Morton, IL mixing office.

Clinical Setting

You will work independently in skilled nursing facilities and long-term care centers, providing direct patient care in a mobile setting. Many patients are considered "hard sticks" and require skilled IV access and therapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous infusions and medications
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians and facility staff
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of all patients
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative care team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Multi-State/Compact License with the ability to practice in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of IV therapy experience
• Reliable transportation and smartphone

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) weekday-only scheduling
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Submit a minimum of six available weekdays per month by the 20th of the prior month
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes required
• Comfortable driving up to 1.5 hours one way (home every night)

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $47 - $49 per hour
