IV Infusion Registered Nurse (Part-Time) - San Antonio, TX

Vitaline is hiring a part-time IV Infusion Registered Nurse to serve patients throughout the San Antonio, TX area. This is a mobile infusion position in which you will travel to skilled nursing facilities and long-term care centers to administer IV hydration and medication therapy to geriatric patients. This role is ideal for nurses with IV experience seeking a transition out of hospital settings into a more autonomous, consistent schedule while maintaining meaningful patient impact.

Clinical Setting

• Skilled nursing facilities and long-term care centers
• Patient population: geriatric patients, including those with difficult IV access

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous infusions and medications
• Assess patients and monitor vital signs
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians and facility staff
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of all patients
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative care team

Travel Requirements

• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes required
• Comfortable driving up to 2 hours one way (home every night)
• Many facilities are closer, but flexibility is key
• Must reside within a 20-30 minute commute of the New Braunfels, TX office
• Reliable transportation and smartphone required

Schedule

• Part-time position
• No nights, weekends, or holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN compact license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of IV therapy experience
• Reliable transportation and smartphone

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $42-$45 per hour
