Interventional Radiologist

Radiology Partners and SMIL are seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join a well-established, multi-specialty radiology practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to perform a diverse range of advanced interventional procedures in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest imaging technology.

Clinical Setting

The practice is a physician-led and physician-owned radiology group with 40 years of experience. You will work within a partnership that includes 6 hospitals (including Level 1 trauma centers and a cancer center) and 16 outpatient imaging centers throughout the Phoenix area. This diverse network provides access to a broad caseload and multiple clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiologic procedures with strong procedural skills
• Advanced procedures include bleeding management, atherectomy, kyphoplasty, and additional specialized interventions
• Minimum 80% of work dedicated to interventional radiology
• No mammography, nuclear medicine, or musculoskeletal imaging responsibilities
• Participate in call coverage and on-call responsibilities shared equally among physicians
• Opportunity to participate in clinical research through the SMIL Research Institute, including phase I through IV clinical trials and sponsored research

Required Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status (recent graduates meeting new ABR guidelines are eligible)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule and Call

• Shift assignments shared equally among physicians
• Call responsibility shared equally
• Vacation allotment shared equally

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $550,000 to $700,000 (final determination based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic location)
