Interventional Radiologist - Mori, Bean & Brooks

Mori, Bean & Brooks (MBB), a Radiology Partners practice and leader in subspecialty diagnostic imaging and interventional services in Jacksonville, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join a team-oriented practice. This is an onsite, Monday through Friday day position with no diagnostic call responsibility. Interventional radiologists in this role will perform a diverse, high-volume mix of both routine and advanced procedures while benefiting from strong physician assistant support for patient workup and routine cases, allowing focus on complex interventions.

Clinical Setting

MBB provides exclusive diagnostic and interventional radiology services to seven hospitals in two hospital systems, including Baptist-MD Anderson Cancer Center, and 14 outpatient imaging centers. The IR team is supported by more than 15 dedicated physician assistants who participate in the IR call process and act as first call from clinicians for minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform core interventional radiology procedures including dialysis access, venous access (ports, central lines), embolization, hepatobiliary interventions, percutaneous nephrostomy tubes, biopsies, and drainages
• Perform full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular interventions
• Read general diagnostic imaging
• Participate in optional IR call (Q8 schedule) for additional compensation while on partnership track
• Opportunity to earn additional on-shift production pay

Schedule

• Onsite Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
• 100% IR dedicated shifts
• No diagnostic call responsibility
• IR call is optional while on partnership track

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy
• Board certification or board eligibility by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Interventional Radiology Fellowship required
• Ability to secure a Florida license
• CAQ certified or CAQ eligible

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spinal procedures
• Experience with oncologic interventions such as Y90 radioembolization
• New graduates are welcome

Compensation

• Salary range: $550,000 to $725,000
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
