Interventional Radiologist - Leadership - Empire State Radiology - Bronx

Radiology Partners is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. This is a leadership opportunity with Empire State Radiology (ESR), an affiliate of Radiology Partners and one of the leading radiology practices in the Bronx. You will perform a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures while supporting workflow for diagnostic imaging at Bronx Care Health System's Health and Wellness Center.

Clinical Setting

Empire State Radiology serves Bronx Care Health System, the largest voluntary, not-for-profit health care system serving the South and Central Bronx. ESR has over 30 board-certified physicians with subspecialties in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Pediatrics, and Women's Diagnostic Imaging. You will work with an experienced team using state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive culture committed to quality and professional development.

Responsibilities

You will perform the following procedures:

Light Procedures:

• Lumbar puncture, diagnostic
• Lumbar puncture, myelogram
• Joint arthrogram (knee, elbow, hip, shoulder, wrist, ankle)

Core Procedures:

• Angiography (carotid, cerebral, renal, mesenteric, extremity)
• Angioplasty and stent placement (carotid, visceral, great vessels, extremity)
• Stroke and intracranial intervention
• Thrombolysis
• Embolization (visceral trauma, GI bleed, uterine, venous, Y-90, chemotherapy)
• Image-guided radiofrequency ablation
• Image-guided cryoablation
• Venous ablation
• Venograms
• Vascular access (PICC line, tunneled catheter placement, port placement)
• IVC filter placement and retrieval
• Dialysis fistula and graft declotting and intervention
• Retrieval of intravascular foreign body
• Kyphoplasty
• Vertebroplasty
• Pediatric IR
• Venous access, GI/GU procedures, biopsies, drains, paracentesis, thoracentesis

Schedule

• Monday through Friday position with shared weekend call
• IR call is required
• 215 shifts per year
• Moonlighting opportunities available for additional compensation

Required Qualifications

• Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME-accredited U.S. training program
• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (ABOR)
• Licensed or ability to obtain a license in New York State

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $500,000 to $1,000,000 (final determination based on education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location)
