We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join an established and expanding outpatient cardiovascular and interventional practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to build and expand an outpatient IR practice within an established, high-volume setting. You will step into existing endovascular and embolization volume while having the opportunity to grow the IR program around your training, expertise, and clinical interests. No hospital work is required.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a 100% outpatient environment with an established, accredited Office-Based Lab (OBL) and a new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) under development. The practice is high-volume and established, providing significant procedural opportunities.
Responsibilities
Interventional Procedures:
- Perform complex peripheral vascular interventions
- Perform genicular artery embolization
- Perform prostate artery embolization
- Perform uterine artery embolization
- Perform hemorrhoidal artery embolization
- Perform additional outpatient IR procedures based on training and interests
- Develop and expand additional procedures and the IR service line
Imaging Responsibilities:
- Interpret and provide overreads for PET/CT studies
- Interpret CT studies, primarily cardiac
- Serve in Medical Director responsibilities related to imaging services
- Maintain applicable imaging accreditation
- Expand imaging services based on experience and interests
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular & Interventional Radiology
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Strong endovascular and interventional skills
- Ability to support PET/CT and CT interpretation responsibilities
Schedule
- Monday through Friday daytime schedule
- No nights
- No weekends
- No call
Compensation
- Base salary: $700,000 to $850,000
- Productivity bonus: Up to $400,000 annually
- Potential total compensation: $1,100,000 to $1,250,000
