Interventional Radiologist - 26 Weeks Off - Access Radiology

Access Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice serving Central Louisiana, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join the team at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a 100% interventional radiology position with a diverse case mix, excellent earning potential, and no neurointerventional or stroke responsibilities. Rapides Regional Medical Center is a busy Level II Trauma Center and regional referral hospital providing a stable referral base and collaborative environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform general body interventional procedures from the neck down
• Conduct venous interventions, biopsies, and drain placements
• Place ports and manage vascular access
• Perform occasional peripheral vascular procedures
• Opportunity for interventional oncology procedures (not required)
• No stroke or neurointerventional procedures
• Diagnostic reading is optional and not required

Schedule

• 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule options
• 26 weeks off per year
• Call pay plus call back pay
• Call shared equitably among group
• 24/7 APP coverage handles consults and light IR procedures

Compensation and Benefits

• Earning potential: $650,000 to $900,000
• $100,000 sign-on bonus

Required Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology Fellowship or IR/DR pathway completion
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABR or AOBR)
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
• Residents, fellows, and experienced physicians encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications

• CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification)
