Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients utilizing evidence-based practices
- Accurately document medical information, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies
- Adjust or discontinue medications as needed and communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient management
- Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner practice
- Act as a patient advocate by providing safe, ethical care, health education, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Follow organizational policies, guidelines, and meet departmental goals
Required Qualifications
