Inpatient Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients utilizing evidence-based practices
• Accurately document medical information, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies
• Adjust or discontinue medications as needed and communicate with the healthcare team regarding patient management
• Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner practice
• Act as a patient advocate by providing safe, ethical care, health education, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Required Qualifications
