Infusion Nurse / IV Therapy Nurse / Oncology RN - Savannah Area

BrightStar Care is seeking a Registered Nurse with infusion therapy expertise to provide skilled, one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the Savannah area, including Guyton, Pooler, Rincon, and surrounding communities. This is a PRN/per diem position offering flexible scheduling with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available.

Clinical Setting

You will deliver personalized care in patients' private residences, building meaningful relationships while supporting patients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments
• Manage IV infusions and vascular access devices
• Access, maintain, and de-access PICC lines and implanted ports
• Provide wound care and dressing changes using evidence-based practices
• Perform PEG/G-tube feeding and enteral nutrition management
• Provide catheter and ostomy care
• Promote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and independence

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (Savannah area) or South Carolina
• PICC line and implanted port access experience required
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Bluffton and Hilton Head Island service area
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• IV infusion therapy experience
• Wound care experience
• Tube feeding (PEG/G-tube) experience
• Tracheostomy care experience
• Medication management experience
• Catheter and ostomy care experience
• Prior experience in home health, private duty, hospice, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care settings
