Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for in-home nursing care of a teenager requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support in the LaGrange area. This is a high-acuity private duty nursing position working weekend nights.

Schedule

  • Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend overnight shifts
  • Flexible scheduling options available (full-time, part-time, or PRN)

Clinical Setting

You will provide direct patient care in the patient's home, delivering compassionate nursing services to a teenager with complex medical needs. Aveanna provides electronic documentation via tablet in each patient's home and offers 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice (compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days)
  • Current CPR certification with hands-on component (Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire if necessary)
  • TB skin test current within the last 12 months
  • Reliable transportation
  • Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience preferred; one year required in Georgia
