Home Health Registered Nurse

This position supports the Home Health department serving patients across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties in the Detroit, Michigan area. You will provide skilled nursing care to approximately 6 patients per day, with an anticipated daily driving distance of 40-60 miles. This is a 17-week contract with strong potential to convert to permanent employment based on performance.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• One Saturday per month

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in home health settings
• Manage a caseload of approximately 6 patient visits per day
• Travel to patient homes across multiple counties

Orientation

• Orientation will last 2-4 weeks depending on individual acuity
• You will work with a preceptor during the orientation period

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN licensure
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of Home Health RN experience
• Current valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation

Travel Requirements

• You must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license
• Expect to drive approximately 40-60 miles per day to visit patients in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties
