HOME HEALTH Registered Nurse (RN) – Per Diem Weekends Only

Allegiance Home Health is seeking an experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing visits to patients in their homes on a per diem basis, working Saturday and Sunday coverage only.

This position requires prior hands-on home health nursing experience. Candidates whose RN experience is limited to hospital, clinic, physician-office, or other facility-based settings will not meet the experience requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits to patients in their homes
• Perform comprehensive assessments and provide care in accordance with the established plan of care
• Complete OASIS assessments accurately and within required timeframes
• Perform wound assessments and wound care, with thorough documentation of wound status and progress
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and communicate appropriately with physicians and the clinical team
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Complete all clinical documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain compliance with agency policies and applicable home health regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Florida RN license
• Prior home health RN experience
• OASIS experience
• Wound care experience
• Strong home health assessment and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage assigned patient visits
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday

Schedule

• Per diem, Saturday and Sunday coverage only
