Home Health Nurse LVN / RN

Amazing Care Home Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty nursing care to a 19-year-old male patient in his home. Unlike traditional home health nursing with multiple patient visits per shift, this role focuses on one patient per shift, allowing you to build continuity of care and develop deeper clinical relationships. Shift lengths are flexible, ranging from 4-hour to 12-hour shifts to accommodate your schedule.

Clinical Setting

This is private duty nursing in a home-based setting. You will work one-on-one with your assigned patient, providing comprehensive in-home care with on-the-job training provided for each patient assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor the patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using the web-based electronic medical records system

Schedule

The available shift is Sunday, 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Flexible shift lengths are available to accommodate your preferences and family needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail

Compensation and Sign-On Bonus

• Full-time (30 hours or more per week): $3,000 sign-on bonus
• Part-time (29 hours or less per week): $2,000 sign-on bonus
