Home Health Nurse LVN / RN

Amazing Care Home Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty nursing care to a 13-year-old female patient in her home. This position differs from traditional home health nursing—rather than traveling to multiple patients per shift, you will work with one patient per shift, allowing you to build continuity of care and develop deeper clinical relationships.

Clinical Setting

This is a private duty home health nursing role providing care in a patient's home environment. You will work with a pediatric patient who requires gastric tube (GT) feeding and oxygen via nasal cannula (NC).

Schedule

This is a part-time position with shifts available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Shift lengths vary, and the employer can accommodate preferences for shorter 4-hour shifts or longer 12-hour days based on your needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to the pediatric patient in their home
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor the patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to the patient and family
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records using the web-based electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN license or RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail

Compensation and Sign-On Bonus

• Part-time sign-on bonus: $1,000.00
