The opportunity

Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in home health settings. This is a private duty nursing role serving children and adults, including patients with complex medical needs such as G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependence.

Clinical Setting

You will work in patients' homes throughout the Portland, OR area, delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care. Aveanna provides electronic documentation support through tablets in each patient's home and offers 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians.

Schedule and Shifts

  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • PRN (as-needed) shifts available
  • Days, nights, weekends, and overnight shifts available
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability

Compensation and Benefits

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license
  • Current CPR certification with hands-on component (Aveanna can assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary)
  • TB skin test current within the last 12 months
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience
  • Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator-dependent patients
