Aveanna is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout Manatee County. This is a PRN (as-needed) part-time position working Monday through Friday with a shared weekend on-call rotation. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse teammate, delivering quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care in compliance with physician orders under the direction of an RN teammate
- Perform hands-on client care including documentation and timely communication with the client's physician and other caregivers
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention, implementing care to prevent or reduce risk
- Educate clients and family members based on specific patient needs
- Provide care in patients' homes using a variety of clinical skills including phone triage, patient education, observation and assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, and PICC line dressing changes
Schedule
- Monday through Friday with shared weekend on-call rotation
- Territory: Manatee County
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of application
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Valid CPR certification
